River Friends at the Shames JCC on the Hudson is all of the adventure and excitement of big-kid camp with a focus on the needs of young campers (ages 2–6).

We offer a variety of engaging, developmentally appropriate activities, including swim lessons, sports and games, an eco-friendly playground, cooking and gardening projects, water play, yoga, dance, music, arts and crafts, and more!

Our campus, located at the Shames JCC on the Hudson in Tarrytown, has multiple areas for outdoor fun. Campers will climb on our new playground, race on our field, explore nature in our wooded area, enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from our garden, cool off on our water slide and splash pad, and ride scooters on our blacktop—all in a day at camp!
